The ART - ICHOKE revealed.

If you are looking for different ways to get that vitamin C other than the usual orange, take a look at the Artichoke, it is by the way the oldest known cultivated vegetable in the world. It's origin began in Ethiopia and has always been known to have digestive regulation benefits for it's dietary fiber. We now know that this strange yet delicious, yet slightly bitter vegetable has the power to reduce cholesterol, contains folic acid, biotin, vitamin A, niacin, riboflavin, thiamine, chromium ( the trace mineral), as well as potassium.

Find new ways to enjoy the artichoke, add the hearts to a summer salad.
